At Cricketers Club, true cricket development goes beyond the training nets — it’s about new conditions, new cultures, and testing yourself against quality opposition. Our 2026 Junior Cricket Tour to Sri Lanka delivered exactly that.
Two weeks, three cities
Our players travelled across Colombo, Kandy and Galle, training in unfamiliar conditions, adapting their batting, bowling and fielding, and building game awareness and resilience along the way.
Real match experience
Competing against talented local teams tested our players under pressure and in unfamiliar conditions — every innings and every spell was another step in their cricket journey.
A once-in-a-lifetime moment
Players heard directly from Sri Lankan cricket legend and 1996 World Cup-winning captain Arjuna Ranatunga, who shared his leadership experiences and advice on succeeding at the highest level.
Friendships beyond cricket
The tour brought together players from Cricketers Club and Brisbane Cricket Centre, building teamwork and friendships that go well beyond the boundary.
Culture and connection
Between sessions, players explored the cities, landscapes and hospitality of Sri Lanka — rounding out a tour that balanced elite cricket with real-world experience.
We’re proud of how every player represented Cricketers Club, and we’re already excited for the next tour.
